At this point of the project you will have done all the planning work and are now at the execution stage. Before arriving at the location for your first training and planting visit, use the Garden Training and Implementation Checklist to make sure that you have everything you need.
Once you have everything you need, everyone has arrived and you have completed your introductions, you will now get started with the training and implementation of the garden. It can be difficult to keep track of what you’ve covered and what you still need to do. To help you stay on top of the day we have created a Training Content Checklist. Print this out bring it with you to each training.
Vegetable gardens come in many different shapes and sizes. This video as well as pages 7 and 8 of the Training Manual focus on preparing the soil for planting a large vegetable garden. Pages 9-11 of the training Manual provide additional information on managing a team of people to create smaller gardens made up of Reel Gardening Grow Pods.
